■ Student Teaching Information Session: All teacher candidates who will be ready to student teach in Fall 2020 are required to attend an Information Session to learn the application process. This is for all programs:  Secondary, Elementary, ESL, ABS, K-12. The remaining session is tomorrow:

■  Fridley Transition Program: The Fridley Transition Program for students ages 18-21 who are receiving special education services is looking for volunteers. The focus of the Transition program is on Employment, Independent Living, Community Participation, and Recreation and Leisure. ■  Play with LEGOs This Summer: Play-Well Engineering with LEGO is currently looking for a few students to teach in the Play-Well Engineering with LEGO Camps and classes in the Twin Cities Metro area. Play-Well TEKnologies, uses LEGO to teach engineering concepts to students from Kindergarten through 6th grade.  Their mission is to build curiosity in engineering and architecture among future college students. While this policy primarily impacts transfer credits for incoming students, it also applies to courses taken at Augsburg. This change does not impact the cumulative GPA requirement of  3.0 (grad) and 2.5 (undergrad) for graduation.

Current students who have received a C- or P on transfer or previous coursework from Augsburg will be allowed to count those courses toward licensure. Current students will follow the new policy.
