Web calendar

  • Submit through Inside Augsburg (Under “Augnet Services” in left column)
  • Edited by Marketing and Communication staff

Daily A-mail

  • Submit through the A-mail Submission Form. If approved, your entry will be published in the next day’s A-mail.
  • The submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. on the day before publication.
  • Edits must be received by the 11:59 p.m. submission deadline to be included in the daily email.
  • Submissions are subject to editing and approval by the Augsburg University Department of Marketing and Communication.
  • Student event submissions will not be published without a sponsoring organization or department listed.
  • Submissions about research projects or surveys must have Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval prior to posting.
  • Post stories about department events, faculty or student accomplishments, grants, awards, scholarships, etc. Submissions that are not directly related to the Augsburg campus community or Augsburg events may be excluded from publication.
  • For all event submissions, include date, time, location, and registration information (if applicable).
  • Posts should be 150-250 words.
  • Submissions cannot be scheduled to run consecutively. Submit a new post for each day you want your item to appear.
  • No images allowed.

Printed invitations and postcards for external audiences

  • May be designed by Marketing and Communication
  • Pay for printing and postage from your budget
  • Submit a New Project request (right side of this webpage)
  • Please allow up to 6 weeks for design and printing

Digital screens

  • Published by Marketing and Communication
  • Preferred method of promoting events for on-campus audiences
  • Submit a Project Request
  • Please submit two weeks prior to event
  • Can change daily
  • No cost
  • 15-20 screens at a time, 8 seconds viewing time for each screen

Your department webpage

  • Research shows that the official College website is the primary place prospective students and parents go to learn about the College
  • Post information about ongoing programs, faculty accomplishments, grants, awards, and events
