Website Content Managers

The Augsburg website is managed in WordPress.

As a Content Manager, you are the voice and primary contact for your department’s web pages. Being engaged in this role involves several core responsibilities:

  • Active Ownership: Perform regular content audits to verify that contact details, program information, dates, and links remain up to date.
  • Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure all text, imagery, and documents meet web accessibility standards so every visitor can navigate your site effectively.
  • Brand & Tone Consistency: Maintain a clear, professional voice that aligns with organizational guidelines and accurately represents your department’s mission.
  • Strategic Updates: Plan page layout or structural updates when launching new programs, initiatives, or events rather than relying on quick text fixes.
  • Collaboration with Digital Teams: Work directly with the central web team to request new visual assets, custom page builds, or technical support when standard edits aren’t enough.
