Glass Dividers, Floor Markings, and Air Quality Measures in the Works

  • Augsburg regularly installs new anti-microbial filters in each residential unit, and has done so this summer in preparation for fall. The university also has invested in upgrading all of its HVAC filters across campus to a minimum efficiency reporting value of 13, which is consistent with superior commercial buildings. Augsburg’s mechanical engineering expertise is provided by Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors. Our dedicated engineer is on site weekly at Augsburg and is in the process of adjusting the campus air handling systems to maximize fresh air intake in our buildings.

Annual Fire Safety Testing Continues; Public Health Signage Being Posted

  • Augsburg is continuing to work under its modified operations plan, which is in effect until further notice during the COVID-19 pandemic. Summer classes are online. Employees (including faculty, staff, and student workers) whose roles are deemed critical to university operations will retain access to campus buildings for work purposes. Resident students who received exceptions to live on campus still retain fob access to their residence hall.
