COVID-19: Hand Sanitizer Tip, Glass Dividers, and Air Quality Measures
Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes stations are in place at the entrances of Minneapolis campus buildings. Tip: Use an eighth of a pump to avoid getting too much hand sanitizer.
The second phase of glass divider installations is underway.
HEPA Air Purifiers will be used in classrooms and run 24 hours daily. These are not required and can be turned down or off during class and turned back on afterward.
HVAC systems are bringing in fresh air 24 hours a day. All Minneapolis campus buildings had new filters installed this summer and MERV 13 high-grade air filters will be installed this fall as they become available.
Disinfectant wipes, towels, and spray were distributed to departments for staff, faculty, and students to clean up common spaces in offices and similar shared spaces after use.
All staff, faculty and students must wear face coverings while in any common areas on Augsburg property. Health officials also advise adhering to frequent hand washing, avoiding touching the face, and practicing social distancing.
