The People’s Center is a neighborhood family practice clinic, that operates on a sliding scale payment. People’s Center also accepts most insurances. Students with insurance should contact their insurance customer service number to confirm that People’s Center is in their provider network.

Indian Health Board of Minneapolis provides culturally-relevant, quality health care and wellness services. It offers a sliding-fee scale payment program, and it does not turn anyone away for being unable to pay for services.

Students who do not have health insurance can qualify for health insurance plans through MNSure, Minnesota’s health insurance marketplace. Low-cost and free health insurance options are provided through government-sponsored programs Medical Assistance (MA) and MinnesotaCare.
