Auggie Pass

Auggie Pass Information

The Auggie Pass is an all-you-can ride transit pass for eligible Augsburg students. This includes all rides on Metro Transit Twin Cities buses and light-rail trains. Students can also ride Northstar Commuter Rail between Target Field Station and Anoka Station. Traveling to Northstar stations north of Anoka requires additional fare, which can be added to the Auggie Pass as stored value.

All undergraduate day students who pay the semester Green Fee are eligible for the Auggie Pass. All other students (Adult Undergraduate, Graduate) can still purchase a College Pass in the bookstore for $165 per Fall & Spring semesters and $65 for the Summer semester.

The Auggie Pass is valid for the Fall and Spring semesters of the academic year. The exact dates will be published closer to the start of the Fall semester.

Day students can pick up the Auggie Pass at the Library Circulation Desk – bring your Augsburg ID

Please visit the Library’s website for their hours.

The Auggie Pass is valid on:

  • All local and express bus routes operated by Metro Transit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA), Southwest Transit, Maple Grove Transit, and Plymouth Metrolink.
  • Arterial Bus Rapid Transit (aBRT) routes A Line and C Line.
  • All METRO lines – Green Line, Blue Line, and Red Line.
  • Northstar Commuter Rail between Anoka Station and Target Field Station.

The Auggie Pass does not cover travel on Metro Mobility, Transit Link, Southwest Prime, Northstar Link, or the University of Minnesota Campus Connector. If you are a student who uses Metro Mobility, Augsburg will provide you with a Go-To card to cover your rides, similar to the Auggie Pass.

Please contact Noah Greenfield if you are interested.

Students must tap their Auggie Pass on every trip, including transfers. For more information about tapping your pass, visit https://www.metrotransit.org/fares.
