Many online resources (as well as campus news and events) are available through the Inside Augsburg website, located at http://sites.augsburg.edu.
A licensed Zoom account has been assigned to you with the use of your Augsburg set of credentials. For information about how to become familiar with Zoom, please refer to the Moodle section down below.
Augsburg University uses a university-wide Course Management System (CMS) called Moodle. Every Augsburg class section has a corresponding Moodle course site. You are encouraged to check with your instructors to inquire how Moodle will be used in each course you are enrolled in. We encourage you to use our Moodle Introduction Course to become familiar with Moodle and other tools like Zoom.
E-mail has been designated as an official means of communication for the University; you are responsible for all information sent to your University-provided account. You should check your e-mail at least two or three times per week.
Through Inside Augsburg, you have the ability to register online for classes for the upcoming term, view your updated class schedule and grades as soon as they are posted, see your current billing statement, and make secure online payments using a credit card.

You are provided with unlimited storage space with Augsburg’s Google drive. In addition, you are provided an “AugNet folder” with space for storing files. Your AugNet folder is easily accessible both on and off campus via the internet. Your folder contains private space for your files, a ‘public’ folder for sharing files with Augsburg community members, and a ‘www’ folder for publishing a personal web site.
A combination of computer labs, classrooms, web kiosks and laptop computers are available to meet your computing needs while you are an enrolled student at Augsburg.
Print to one of several public-access network multipurpose printers located in convenient locations throughout our Minneapolis campus and at our Rochester location. Color printers are also available in select locations.
Wireless access is provided by the university in all buildings and throughout the Augsburg Rochester site.
Students living on campus should visit the Tech Desk website and search for computer to the campus network.
Many computer manufacturers and software companies provide discounts to students.
