Annual Steam Maintenance; Augsburg Mask Policy

  • Metropolitan Mechanical will be on campus during the next couple of weeks, exercising valves inside steam vaults and looking for leaks. This is done to prevent steam shutdowns during winter to maintain heating infrastructure.
  • Augsburg’s policy since April is consistent with the statewide executive order issued in July by Governor Walz. Wearing cloth masks does not replace the need to adhere to frequent hand washing, avoiding touching the face, and practicing social distancing, our best tools to help prevent the spread of illness.
  • In support of upcoming campus tours, signs are being posted around the campus highlighting our required public health practices for prospective students and their families.
  • Critical employees who are entering a space that’s been marked cleaned and disinfected, please take the sign down and put in a work order to have it cleaned and disinfected. If you plan to work multiple days in a row, please wait until your last visit to make a work order
