Stay at Home Order Begins Friday Night (3/27/2020) – Fob Access Ends at 11 P.M. Except for Critical Staff and Resident Students Granted Exceptions
The Stay at Home order issued by Gov. Tim Walz starts 11:59 p.m. Friday for two weeks until 5 p.m. Friday, April 10. Fob access will end for most Augsburg community members at 11 p.m. Friday, except those who have critical work on campus. Those who have access are asked to maintain social distancing. Go only where you need to go and only stay on campus to complete your critical tasks. Do not linger on campus. Augsburg is trying to minimize people gathering and help custodians focus on cleaning and disinfecting student residential spaces.
Classrooms are being disinfected and locked up after sanitizing. Signs have been posted on classroom doors.
Athletic facilities are locked and will be cleaned and disinfected.
The maintenance crews are working to continue to change HVAC filters across campus for improved air quality.
We are ensuring we have the proper equipment and supplies for the custodians to clean residence hall rooms for the transition from spring semester to summer.
Davey Tree, Augsburg’s arborist, was on campus this week to re-cable the elm tree on the quad to structurally support the tree.
