5. Event: Critical Issues Forum: Educational Achievement for All

Description: We can wait no longer to close the gaps in K-12 public education. Former Minneapolis Mayor, RT Rybak is leading the charge at the helm of Generation Next. Hear the latest strategies for improving student achievement and learn how we are performing against the metrics in our new Regional Indicators Dashboard. The Critical Issues Forum features Rybak’s presentation followed by panelists discussing specific strategies in greater detail.

Description: With generous support from the Lloyd G. Bafour Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee, and in partnership with Campus Compact for New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Inclusive Excellence Advisory Board, and UMass Boston, NERCHE’s Project Inclusion will pilot and then encourage a statewide effort to assess the institutional structures, policies, and practices around diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in New Hampshire’s Colleges and universities.

7. Event: Minnesota Education Equity Partnership (MnEEP) 2016 Conference

Description: The Minnesota Education Equity Partnership (MnEEP), formerly MMEP, the State’s premier organization for research, policy and engagement in the area of Educational Race Equity, will present a statewide conference. MnEEP conferences have attracted hundreds of educators, policymakers, community leaders, and students and major media to learn about innovative approaches that enhance student of color success and drive change of our education systems. The 2016 conference offers a powerful opportunity to highlight how we can sustain a Minnesota movement for educational race equity and excellence in Minnesota.
