{"id":49,"date":"2016-01-19T23:17:58","date_gmt":"2016-01-19T23:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/universitycouncil\/?page_id=49"},"modified":"2025-10-13T16:28:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T16:28:25","slug":"leadership-forum","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/universitycouncil\/leadership-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"Leadership Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>About the Leadership Forum of University Council:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Forum is a structured as leadership community of practice, \u00a0bringing together administrators and faculty leaders\u00a0from across campus to build leadership practices and engage a broader circle in the College&#8217;s strategic work.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of meetings is to learn, think and plan together across divisions, working outside the &#8216;silos&#8217; that can hinder insight and innovation.\u00a0Leadership Forum meets 10 times throughout the academic year, with\u00a0agendas aligned to\u00a0annual strategic priorities; the Forum\u00a0discusses institution-wide projects and initiatives, and engages in an ongoing conversation about future opportunities and challenges. \u00a0Leadership Forum\u00a0members carry this work into their teams to build alignment of operational plans with strategic objectives. \u00a0 When appropriate, Leadership Forum creates and forwards to University Council and\/or appropriate committee(s) a <em><strong>key leadership questions<\/strong> <\/em>document as a summary of\u00a0its deliberation on a particular topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contact:<\/strong> Leif Anderson,\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:andersol@augsburg.edu\">andersol@augsburg.edu<\/a>, 612-330-1497<\/p>\n<p><strong>Upcoming meeting dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wed.
