This includes all rides on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All local, express, and arterial rapid transit bus routes operated by Metro Transit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA), Southwest Transit, Maple Grove Transit, and Plymouth Metrolink.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All METRO light-rail transit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Northstar Commuter Rail between Target Field Station and Anoka Station. (Traveling to Northstar stations north of Anoka requires additional fare, which can be added to the Auggie Pass as stored value.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Auggie Pass does not cover travel on Metro Mobility, Transit Link, Southwest Prime, Northstar Link, or the University of Minnesota Campus Connector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students must tap their Auggie Pass on every trip, including transfers. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrotransit.org\/fares\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click here for more information about tapping your pass.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Undergraduates: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First-year and transfer undergraduate students will receive their Auggie Pass at orientation programming. Returning undergraduate students may pick up their Auggie Pass at the ShareShop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Graduates: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are a limited number of Auggie Passes for graduate students. Students may request an Auggie Pass by emailing <\/span><a href=\"mailto:deanofstudents@augsburg.edu\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">deanofstudents@augsburg.edu<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Frequently Asked Questions<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><strong>What do I need to be able to pick up my pass?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must have your <\/span><b>Augsburg Student ID<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to pick up your Auggie Pass. You cannot pick up a pass for another student.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>When can I use the pass?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any time, any day, including during any break times, like winter and spring break. The pass is active from September 1 &#8211; August 31.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>I lost\/damaged my pass. How do I get a replacement?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have lost or damaged your pass, it is important to report it quickly. Email the deanofstudents@augsburg.edu to report your pass as being damaged, lost or stolen. Your old pass will be deactivated and you can pick up a new one in the ShareShop after deactivation of your lost\/stolen\/damaged card.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>My card didn\u2019t work on the bus\/train. What should I do?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you were unable to use your pass, it may be damaged and in need of a replacement. Email the deanofstudents@augsburg.edu to report your pass as being damaged, lost or stolen. Your old pass will be deactivated and you can pick up a new one in the ShareShop after deactivation of your lost\/stolen\/damaged card.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Does my Auggie Pass Expire?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes; it expires on August 31 each year. You must obtain a new one at the start of the academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I use my Auggie Pass to go places other than school?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes, you can use your Auggie Pass for getting to work or an internship; run errands, go to restaurants, check out a concert, or just explore all the Twin Cities have to offer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Can I use the Metro Transit app to ride transit instead of my Auggie Pass?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes, but you will pay full cost for fares you buy on the Metro Transit app. Best thing is to use your Auggie Pass for all of your transit trips.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do I need to register my pass and create an account to access the Guaranteed Ride Home Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes. Students should go online to<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrotransit.org\/guaranteed-ride-home\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.metrotransit.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and create their account.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Where do I find information about nearby transit stops and routes?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are several options for locating the nearest stop or station, planning your transit trip, or checking departure times.
