{"id":2209,"date":"2022-03-24T11:23:51","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T16:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/outbreak-planning\/?p=2209"},"modified":"2022-03-24T11:23:51","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T16:23:51","slug":"mid-semester-updates-for-spring-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/outbreak-planning\/2022\/03\/24\/mid-semester-updates-for-spring-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Mid-semester updates for Spring 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the change in CDC guidelines and new guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health, along with low COVID-19 transmission rates in Hennepin and Ramsey counties, Augsburg University has made changes to some of its policies.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1k0Zf-fgSGYdwKRfPIb1ib4E6_k8R7wcc\/view\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">masks<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> are no longer required for vaccinated individuals, except at specific events or in the classroom at the request of a faculty member. Unvaccinated individuals must still wear masks indoors on campus.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have updated our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1jarrRCWJs9pHA5HOATufSqSaxzt-Ri4S\/view\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">guest policy<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to allow visitors who do not live on campus in the residence halls.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because vaccines and testing are part of successfully managing COVID-19, Augsburg is also offering a vaccine clinic on March 30 for anyone who would like to receive a first, second, or booster dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. This event is open to all members of the Augsburg community as well as the general public ages 5 and older.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, Augsburg offers <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1EVckOdiO1OJOB3gv5qWT48J7zP8ynVM-\/view\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">free testing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for students, staff, and faculty on Mondays and Thursdays, 4:30-6:30 p.m., in Gundale Chapel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Augsburg continues to monitor trends and MDH guidance for higher education institutions.
