{"id":1803,"date":"2021-07-22T08:58:38","date_gmt":"2021-07-22T13:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/outbreak-planning\/?p=1803"},"modified":"2021-08-02T20:10:23","modified_gmt":"2021-08-03T01:10:23","slug":"augsburg-announces-covid-19-vaccination-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/outbreak-planning\/2021\/07\/22\/augsburg-announces-covid-19-vaccination-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Augsburg Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To provide the safest possible conditions for teaching, learning and working, Augsburg University has implemented a <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/outbreak-planning\/vaccine-info\/\">COVID-19 Vaccination Policy<\/a> for students and employees, with documented exemptions and extensions allowed for the 2021-22 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>By August 26, students, faculty, and staff must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">received two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or one dose of the Johnson &amp; Johnson vaccine; or<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">been vaccinated with another vaccine approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO); or<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">filed a medical or non-medical vaccine exemption form with the Dean of Students (for students) or Augsburg Human Resources (for employees); or<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">filed a 31-day deadline extension request with the Dean of Students (for students) or Augsburg Human Resources (for employees).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.augsburg.edu\/outbreak-planning\/vaccine-info\/\">Vaccine Mandate page<\/a> for information about filing an extension or COVID-19 vaccine exemption, campus requirements for unvaccinated individuals, and additional frequently asked questions about the COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Augsburg remains committed to supporting individuals who would like information about or help with COVID-19 vaccinations. Faculty and staff may contact Human Resources for support.
