Feeling Sick?

Or, worried about exposure to someone confirmed with COVID-19?

If you are sick with fever and cough, the recommendation is to first call your health care provider. If you do not have a primary health care provider, contact one of the providers listed on the Center for Wellness & Counseling’s Health Care page or see the list of healthcare providers. Augsburg has a relationship with the nearby People’s Center Clinic and Services, which offers COVID-19 testing 12:30-4 p.m. Mondays. It’s free to students without insurance and covers uninsured portions for those who do have insurance. If you wish to be tested by People’s Center, please fill out this form once to be tested as many times as you need.

In addition, the state of Minnesota offers fast and accurate at-home saliva testing, at no cost, to any person who feels they need a test. You can find more information on COVID-19 testing, including testing sites in Minnesota, on the Minnesota Department of Health COVID-19 Testing webpage.

It is recommended that you call first, rather than show up in person at a clinic. Please stay home—do not attend class or go to work—for your own well-being and in consideration of others.

What to do if you have been exposed to someone confirmed to have the COVID-19 virus:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises that you call your healthcare provider and self-quarantine at home.
