The entire process will take through 2028 with distinct phases: vendor selection, implementation partner selection, deployment of HR and Finance modules, lastly deployment of the student module.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three vendors visited campus in spring 2025 and met with departments to learn about our needs (called &#8220;discovery&#8221;) and later presented demonstrations of their systems. They were Jenzabar, Oracle, and Workday. The ultimate recommendation about a new ERP vendor was informed by community input in various forms, including departmental meetings with key functional areas, open campus meetings, and surveys.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Fall 2024\u2013Winter 2025<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engage campus community in project planning<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identify vendors: Jenzabar, Oracle, Workday<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Business process analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/amail.augsburg.edu\/2025\/01\/06\/open-qa-sessions-on-the-cloud-erp-project\/\">Campus Q&amp;A sessions (January &#8211; March)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Spring\/Summer 2025<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Campus visits by vendors for discovery meetings and software demonstrations: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1JPKS6cLXclRb25gjeYW99eBaS5AB4JY7TlHSJp_ANsY\/edit?usp=sharing\">February &#8211; March demonstration schedule<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/go.augsburg.edu\/clouderpfeedback\">Survey attendees of demos<\/a><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Vendor list reduced to just Oracle or Workday.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Meet with staff at other schools using each of the vendors to learn about their experiences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Fall 2025<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recommendation by the project steering committee to President\u2019s Leadership Team<\/span><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Final vendor selection: Workday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Winter 2025-2026<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Select an implementation partner. <a href=\"https:\/\/avaap.com\/services\/erp-implementation\/\">Avaap<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.erpa.com\/workday-solutions\/implementation-services\/\">ERPA<\/a> are being evaluated.<\/li>\n<li>Final implementation partner seletion: Avaap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Spring\/Summer 2026<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Begin implementation for Human Resources and Finance modules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Fall 2026<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Begin the implementation process for the Student module.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Winter 2026-2027<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Go live with HCM and Finance modules for the campus.<\/li>\n<li>Continue the implementation process for the Student module.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2027<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue the implementation process for the Student module<\/li>\n<li>Move to Production 1 : Initial student modules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2028<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Move to Production 2: Remaining student modules<\/li>\n<li>Go live with the Student module for the campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Selection Process and Project Timeline The project began in 2024 with the decision to move to a new ERP.
