This will change how every student, faculty member, and staff member digitally interacts with Augsburg, from course registration to accessing pay slips.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is what runs the university\u2019s business of educating students. Our current ERP\u2014Unit4, formerly Agresso\u2014provides the tools to run the financials, human resources, student recordkeeping, registration, and curriculum aspects of the university.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With upcoming changes to Unit4 and the student Records and Registration module, the time is right to move to a new platform with the capacity to unify and streamline our information systems across campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Workday was selected as the new ERP platform in October of 2025 after the selection process outlined below.<\/p>\n<h2>Project Goals<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are three major goals of the ERP project. The entire process will take through 2028 with distinct phases: vendor selection, implementation partner selection, deployment of HR and Finance modules, lastly deployment of the student module.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three vendors visited campus in spring 2025 and met with departments to learn about our needs (called &#8220;discovery&#8221;) and later presented demonstrations of their systems. They were Jenzabar, Oracle, and Workday.
