some are open to all currently-enrolled students. Your financial aid letter will indicate whether work-study is part of your financial aid package.<\/p>\n<p>If you have not yet completed your FAFSA for the upcoming school year, please complete it as soon as possible; determining eligibility for work-study jobs requires a completed FAFSA form. If you have questions about your work-study eligibility or financial aid package, please contact <a href=\"http:\/\/studentfinances@augsburg.edu\/\">Student Financial Services<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Smart Recruiters is our hiring portal for on-campus student employment and work-study jobs.\u00a0 If possible, please use your Augsburg email address when you apply for positions. Copies are not accepted.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/i-9-central\/form-i-9-acceptable-documents\">What documentation do I need?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Be Prepared.<\/strong> Please check that you currently have those required documents with you on campus; some students may need to get documents or IDs from home if they do not have them in their possession at school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Process:<\/strong>\u00a0All applicants are reviewed and chosen by hiring managers in each respective department. They contact students for interview opportunities, and confirm hiring status through Smart Recruiters.<\/p>\n<p>Once hired, new student employees must complete 3 steps before work begins:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Background Check<\/li>\n<li>Onboarding Forms (e.g. employee information, emergency contacts, I-9 page 1)<\/li>\n<li>In-person Orientation (30-minute training) with HR:\n<ol>\n<li>Once steps 1 and 2 are complete, make an orientation appointment with HR\/Student Employment. We\u2019ll complete the I-9 form when we verify both identity (a picture ID) and eligibility to work in the U.S. Please check the list to determine the proper documents and\/or IDs required to verify employment eligibility.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/i-9-central\/form-i-9-acceptable-documents\">What documentation do I need?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once the student has completed orientation, they will receive an invitation from ADP to register for an account.
