The submission window closes on each alternating Monday at 5pm. Meeting dates are on the<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.augsburg.edu\/academics\/office-academic-affairs\/calendars-and-deadlines\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Academic Affairs calendar<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. AAC will try to review as many proposals as time will allow during their stated meeting. If all proposals are not able to be reviewed, they will be moved to the next stated meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A completed proposal must have departmental approval and all requested supplements. Once submitted the proposal will be circulated for comments (about a two week period). After the comment period, it will be put on the AAC agenda. <\/span><b>In most cases, a completed proposal will be put on an agenda within two weeks of submission.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposal submission deadlines:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Course Changes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be effective for the<\/span><b> Fall or Summer semester, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">submit by the <\/span><b>last meeting in March.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be effective for the S<\/span><b>pring semester, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">submit by the <\/span><b>last meeting in October.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Catalog Changes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Submit by the <\/span><b>last meeting in March<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Significant Program and Policy Revisions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Must get approval <\/span><b>at least one year before implementation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to allow sufficient time for recruitment efforts and to implement changes within the college.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agendas are finalized one week prior to an AAC meeting.
