Estimated award $1100.<\/p>\n The Heidi Huber Scholarship was established in 2004 in loving memory of Heidi through the generosity of the Curtis L. Carlson Family Foundation, family and friends. Heidi passed away on April 1, 2002 at the age of 33, after a courageous battle with malignant melanoma. The Heidi Huber Scholarship is awarded to one or more students with demonstrated financial need, strong academic achievement, and dedication to the community. He started this scholarship to make it possible for more students to experience the special qualities of an Augsburg education where educators are skilled in meeting students where they are.
