As this page is in no way an exhaustive list of resources available in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, please use this form to submit information about an event/item that you believe should be added. This will help ensure we all work together to keep our community informed.

Rise & remember george floyd global memorial celebration

Tuesday, May 25th | 1:00 – 9:00 PM
Minneapolis – 38th & Chicago

The George Floyd Global Memorial and the community at George Floyd Square are holding an in-person celebration at 38th and Chicago in Minneapolis, MN on May 25, 2021 to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the death of George Floyd and the community of dedicated caretakers that emerged in the wake of the tragedy. The event centers the family and friends of George Perry Floyd, families impacted by injustice or loss, and the people who’ve preserved the memorial for 12 months.

Okra Project
Combats food insecurity in black trans and gender-nonconforming communities. The Epicenter for Change T-Shirt

We are excited to launch this limited-edition The Epicenter For Change T-shirt to support Minnesota communities impacted from the unrest stemming from the death of George Floyd.

Designed by local youth artists from Juxtaposition Arts in North Minneapolis, the T-shirt depicts images of Minnesota communities united together. The Minnesota Twins logo sits as a marker to the Twin Cities, embodying the strength of Minnesota as an epicenter for change.

Proceeds benefit: West Broadway Business and Area Coalition/Northside Funders Group, Lake Street Council, St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.

Black Lives Matter Lawn Signs – Twin Cities

All lawn sign proceeds go to Black-led organizations. This BLM lawn sign project was started in 2015 by SURJ MN with direction from Lena Gardner, in consultation with other BLM founders.
